At Cozyla US Corp., doing business as Cozyla (“Cozyla”, “we”, “us” and “our”), we are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits our website (www.cozyla.com) and any mobile sub-pages and applications thereof (“Websites”), as well as the privacy of any customers purchasing or using our products and/or services.
This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how we collect, use, store, share and disclose your personal data and applies to your use of our Websites, our mobile applications, our smart calendar frames, and other products, online as well as offline, and services we are providing (collectively called the “Services”). Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person--i.e., information about you which can be used, on its own or together with other information, to identify you as a person and includes, but is not limited to, the following: name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and phone number.
Personal Data can also include information about any transactions, both free and paid, that you enter when using our Services, and information about you that is available on the internet, such as from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google or publicly available information we acquire from service providers.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

1. Purpose and Legal Basis of Personal Data Information Collection and Use
Cozyla collects Personal Data through various means, including voluntary collection such as when you provide information to us yourself, and also automatically when you access, use, or interact with the Services. The main reason for processing Personal Data is to operate, maintain, enhance and provide all features of the Services. In some instances, the amount of information processed is voluntary but, in other instances, certain information will be required for you to use and for us to provide you the Services. The Personal Data we request is context driven and the exact data we collect will depend on how you interact with us.
Our legal basis for collecting and using the Personal Data described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect the information:

2. Personal Data We Collect
To provide our Services, we collect Personal Data in the following categories, depending on how you use the Services.
2.1 Registration and Login Information
To create a Cozyla ID, we collect your email address and password. You may also choose to provide additional profile information such as a username, member role, gender, or an avatar; if you prefer not to, default settings will apply.
In order to comply with child protection regulations, we may also ask for your country of residence and age. Once your Cozyla ID is created, you may also add information about other family members.
2.2 Information You Provide When Using the Service
a. Photographs
We may collect photos and videos that you actively upload while using the service. Photo and video content is stored in our secure cloud hosting provider, and we use reliable modern security practices to protect your privacy. Photos and videos are sent to your Cozyla device using an encrypted protocol and are not accessible to any other party. We will never share or sell your content.
b. Location
To provide certain Services, we may collect your location information (e.g., city) in order to display local temperature and forecasts within the weather feature.
c. Meals Information
When you use the Meals feature and associated features such as grocery list on your Cozyla device, we may collect information you voluntarily provide, including dietary preferences, food allergies, recipes, and ingredients.
d. Calendar Information
When using the Calendar feature, we collect details you input, including event titles, descriptions, participating family members, whether the event is all-day or recurring, and whether you set a reminder.
e. Tasks Information
When using the Tasks feature (Routines, Chores, To-dos and Rewards), we collect the information you enter for each task — such as title, assignees, repetition and recurrence settings, start/end dates, due time, reminders, and reward-related details (points and redemption options). This data is used to manage, sync, and notify about tasks across your family's devices.
f. Conversation Interaction Information
When you use the AI-powered conversation function, chatting with Cozyla AI, we collect your input data, including text, photos and voice messages. These inputs are analyzed to enhance our understanding of your inquiries and context, enabling us to provide you with responses tailored to your specific needs. We may also collect click behavior and content you generate when you use this feature to create calendar events.
2.3 User Feedback
We may collect voluntary feedback you provide, such as ratings and survey responses. These are optional and you may choose to skip them at any time.
2.4 Purchase Information
When you purchase a Cozyla device, we collect your name, phone number and shipping address to deliver the product, and your billing address for payment processing. You can check your order status on our website by entering your order number along with your email address or phone number, or by simply entering your tracking number.
If you choose to refer Cozyla to others through our referral program, we may collect your first name to generate a unique referral code and track the status of your referral rewards.
2.5 Log Data and Analytics
Whenever you use our Services, we may collect diagnostic and usage data in the event of an error or for performance monitoring purposes. This data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app, websites and devices when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. You may also choose to provide us with additional calendar details, such as work, family, or home information, as well as a description of the issue.
We also have access to analytics and logging data regarding when the Services have been used and how they were used. This means that when you view content provided by us, we automatically collect information about your app, websites and devices computer hardware and software. This information can include your IP-address, browser type, domain names, internet protocol services (ISP), the files viewed on our site operating system, access time, etc. This information is used by Cozyla to log general statistics about the Services and improve our user experience.
2.6 Information from Third Parties
We do not receive Personal Data from third party sources unless you connect external applications such as calendars (e.g., Google, Apple, Outlook, CalDAV) or contact services (e.g. Google People, Apple CardDAV) to Cozyla. In such cases, we may collect your third-party account name, authorization tokens or passwords, server address, calendar names, associated calendar events and certain contact information from your address book, including contact names and any birthdays you have stored. This information may be synchronized to our calendar service and displayed as calendar events in order to provide related functionality.
3. Sharing
Except as described in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose Personal Data that we collect on the Service to third parties without your consent. We never sell your Personal Data to any third party.
We may disclose information to third parties in the following circumstances:
Third Party Vendors and Partners. We engage a variety of trusted third-party vendors and partners to support the operation and delivery of our Services. These include:
○ Shipping and Payment Providers. We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for our Services. We share order data such as name, shipping address, billing address with our shipping company. However, we do not collect any credit card of payment information as the payments go directly through our payment providers and we do not take any responsibility for credit card or payment information collected by parties we collaborate with for the performance of our Services.
○ Analytics service providers, who collect data about how users interact with our Services (e.g., pages visited, features used, time spent) to help us improve performance and user experience.
○ Video hosting providers (such as YouTube), who collect information related to your video interactions, including search queries, viewing history, and buffering activity, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
○ Recipe and dietary service providers, who may collect data related to your selected recipes, ingredients, dietary preferences, and allergy information to personalize content and recommendations.
○ Cloud service providers, who securely store and manage user data and content necessary for operating our Services.
○ AI service providers, who process user-generated inputs (such as text, images, voice messages, or other content) to enable intelligent features like image recognition, AI-assisted conversations or smart scheduling.
○ Weather service providers, who may collect limited location (e.g., city) to support weather display and related personalized features.
These companies do not retain, share, store or use Personal Data for any secondary purposes beyond fulfilling your order.
Requested by Law. We may share your information if we are required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with applicable laws, to protect our property, to prevent fraud or in response to a court order, judicial or other government subpoena, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement or other governmental agencies. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, agents, or government agencies.
Corporate Events. If Cozyla (or our assets) are acquired by another company, whether by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or otherwise, that company will receive all information gathered by Cozyla on the Service. In this event, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website, devices or mobile applications of any change in ownership, uses of your Personal Data, and choices you may have regarding your Personal Data.
4. Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Data and use a variety of security technologies and procedures. to help protect the privacy, accuracy, and reliability of your Personal Data and to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. The security measures we implement are appropriate and according to industry standard. Despite our efforts, we want to remind you that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We do our very best to make sure that employees, consultants and third-party service providers who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to the Personal Data on a need-to-know basis. 6. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are designed primarily for adults, including parents and legal guardians. When using the Services, adult users may create family accounts and add profiles for family members, including children under the age of 13 (or the age of consent under applicable data protection laws). Children are not permitted to create their own accounts independently.
If a child’s profile is created under a family account, we may process limited Personal Data about the child—such as their name, gender, age, or activity information—only as necessary to provide the requested features or services. Such information is accessible only to the parent or guardian and other authorized members within the same family account.
We do not collect, use, or share a child’s Personal Data without obtaining verifiable parental consent. When a family member's profile is identified as belonging to a child, we will first verify the user’s age and display a clear notice indicating that parental consent is required before the child can use the Services.
A parent or guardian may contact us in accordance with the “Contact Us” section below with a request to review, delete, and/or restrict further collection, use, or disclosure of any Personal Data associated with their child.
7. Rights of the Individual
We process your Personal Data in accordance with the applicable laws and principles regarding personal data, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), when applicable.

8. Retention of Information
We keep your information only so long as we need to for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, for as long as an account is active, as described in this Privacy Policy, or as needed to provide the Services to you. This is also the case for anyone that we share your information with and who carries out services on our behalf. When we no longer need to use your Personal Data and there is no need for us to keep it to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, we’ll either permanently remove it from our systems or depersonalize it so that we can't identify you.
9. International Transfer of Personal Data
Our servers are located in the United States. Due to the international nature of our business, your Personal Data may also be accessed by our affiliates or be transferred to third-party service providers and business partners, in connection with the purposes set out in this Policy, such as in China and Japan. We may use third-party services, such as YouTube API Services, which enable end users to directly search and access videos on YouTube from the API client. By using these services, certain information may be accessed, collected, or processed through YouTube API Services. Such information may include, for example, your video search history, playback history, and buffering information.
Third-Party Services are not owned or controlled by us, and third parties that have been granted access to this information may have their own policies and practices for its collection, use, and sharing.
